A Post in Pictures: Why You Must Cycle on the California Highway One

You’ve probably heard that riding on the California Highway 1 is dreamy. This post in pictures should help to convince you it is very worth your while. The views, elevation changes and wind in your hair will leave you with a bad case of wanderlust, or at very least an infatuation with the California coastline. Even on a misty day, the coastline is enchanting. These are some images from cycling the stretch of Highway just north of San Fransisco to just South of Big Sur.

  1. My partner did bike this route in his solo bike trips. He’s done several..including 3 were across North America.
